After Jaymie got off work Friday 03/16, we loaded the car and drove to Branson, Missouri. The next morning, we ate a hot breakfast at our hotel and then got on the shuttle for Silver Dollar City. The frogs were Ethan's favorite and Jacob liked the roller coasters. I had packed a picnic for lunch. After more rides, the kids got ice cream while Jaymie and I shared a potato on a stick and drank frozen lemonade. We left when the parked closed and took the shuttle back to the hotel. We drove into Branson and ate at McFarland's then back to the hotel for a quick swim in the swimming pool.
Day 2: Another hot breakfast and shuttle ride to Silver Dollar City. We spent most of our time riding rides. We met up with some of our friends (The White's, The Hart's and The Jansen's) The guys rode the big roller coaster that the kids were too little to ride. We ate lunch in the park today and left about 4:00 pm. We stopped by Aunt Helen's and took her to dinner. The kids opened their Christmas presents from her. After our visit with her we loaded the car and headed home. We had a great weekend!
