DAY SEVEN: 08/12/2011
We went to the beach this morning. Hayley and I didn't stay long. We went back to Sea Side tonight. The boys had grilled cheese while Jaymie and I ate at the Taco Bar. (Fish Taco's...) After dinner, we ate snow cones with the McGuire's while watching The Truman Show on the lawn.
DAY SIX: 08/11/2011
Jaymie and Todd went fishing this morning while Amber and our kids hung out in the condo. Hayley and I went shopping after Jaymie got back. We ate dinner at Pompano Joe's. After dinner the kids got their dinosaur flashlights and headed to the beach for a crab hunt. We didn't catch any, but the kids had fun.
DAY FIVE: 08/10/2011
We ate breakfast the The Donut Hole. After we got back, we headed to the beach. The boys had fun playing football in the ocean. We ate lunch and dinner at the condo. After dinner and key lime pie from The Donut Hole, we took family pics on the beach. It got dark earlier than I would have liked it to...
DAY FOUR: 08/09/2011
The kids started the day off by eating Apple Jacks for breakfast. (You would have thought it was candy by how excited they were.) After breakfast, we all went to the beach. As usual, Hayley and I went to the condo while the boys went swimming in the pool. We went back to Sea Side this evening for dinner at a local pizzeria. We got there earlier tonight so I was able to take some pics of the kids. The sky looked very stormy, so we went back to Destin for dessert. The kids finished the evening by playing the Wii.
DAY THREE : 08/08/2011
Kennedy and Camryn went on a crab hunt last night and found a crab. The kids were checking it out this morning. After breakfast at the condo, we all went to the beach. Hayley and I went back to the condo while the boys headed to the pool. I went to the grocery store this afternoon to buy more food for the week. Amber cooked a wonderful dinner tonight. We decided to go to Sea Side for dessert. It was starting to get dark when we got there. I took a couple of picks of the ocean before heading to the ice cream place. When we got back to the condo our kids joined the Dennie's playing Wii.
DAY TWO: 08/07/2011
We all headed down to the beach this morning. The kids loved it. After eating lunch at the condo, Jacob and I went to the pool for an afternoon swim. The three families did there on thing for dinner tonight. We ate at Louie Louie. (We will go back.) After dinner we met the White's at a yogurt bar. Margaret Catherine, William, Jonathan, Jacob and Ethan had fun hanging out together, while the adults tried to visit.
DAY ONE: 08/06/2011
Jaymie drove all night and part of this morning to get to our first beach vacation in Destin, Florida. It was time for Hayley to eat when we arrived, so after searching for a fun place to eat, we ended up at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. We ate lunch at Poppy's HammerHeads Bar & Grill outside. The boys walked on the pier while we waited on our food. Ethan and Jacob also danced to the live music. After lunch we decided to cool off by eating some Gelato ice cream. We headed to the condo to see if we could check in. No luck, so we hung out in the lobby to stay cool. Once the condo was ready we unloaded and headed to the beach. After a short time at the beach and pool, everyone ate Robby's homemade pizza.
