SAN FRANCISCO AND YOSEMITE

DAY 1:  TRAVEL - We were at the airport about 5:30 AM for a 6:30 AM flight.  Our flight was delayed two hours so we missed our connecting flight.  We had a two hour layover in Dallas.  We were originally to arrive in SF at 10:30 AM.  However, with all of our delays, we didn't arrive until 2:30 PM.  We had to wait in line at the AA office for our luggage.  After getting our luggage we picked up our rental car with no problems.  Jaymie was happy the rental had SYNC so he could play music from his iPhone.  Jacob wanted to hear and danced to "Get Down on It" about every 10 minutes.  We finally arrived at our hotel at 4:30 PM.  We unloaded everything and went to a nearby park for the kids to play.  After eating dinner, we went to Target to buy food for the week.  Jacob's Quote:  "It's taking a lot of time."

DAY 2: CA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE, GOLDEN GATE PARK, SCENIC DRIVE AND THE BEACH - Jacob woke Ethan, Mom and Dad up at 5:00 AM.  After eating breakfast in our hotel room, we drove to CA Academy of Science.  After the academy, we ate a picnic lunch and the kids rode on a carousel and played on the playground in Golden Gate Park.  After playing we took a scenic drive and played at the beach.

DAY 10:  LAZY MORNING AND TRAVEL - We decided to take it easy this morning, since we didn't get back from Yosemite until late.  After eating breakfast in our hotel, we headed to a nearby park for the kids to play.  After the park and lunch we went to the airport.  Airport travel was fine until we got to Dallas.  The only thing in our terminal open to eat was Dunkin Donuts.  Yep, we had donuts for dinner.  We got on the last plane out of Dallas and taxied out and then taxied back to the terminal.  (Mechanical Problem)  So, we spent the night at a nearby hotel and returned home the following day.
